Retail Distributor - Emeryville, CA:

Title Nine is a leading and profitable multi-channel retailer of women's athletic apparel and gear with 13 retail stores, a thriving website, and catalog business. We are everyday athletes and fitness fanatics passionate about our brand and the impact that sports and the pursuit of fitness have on our lives! We are everyday athletes and fitness fanatics and we are on the lookout for an experienced Retail Distributor to join our Inventory Control team.

This is a full-time position with great benefits! Our benefits include medical/dental, 401(k) with match, long term-disability, employee product discounts and pro-deals, gym membership and sports and fitness-related programs.

The Retail Distributor will:

  • Manage, develop and execute initial seasonal inventory, allocation and replenishment for our retail locations
  • Partner closely with store managers, merchandisers and planners to ensure clear communication between all departments and vendors
  • Ensure on-time initial allocation to stores by season, resolve any allocation issues as needed
  • Set-up and maintenance of the allocation system to ensure timely processing of new, current and discontinued merchandise
  • Coordinate inventories to coincide with monthly sales promotions
  • Create select store lists for individual SKUs based on store sales and store square footage for display purposes
  • Support specialized store assortments
  • Special projects, analysis and reports assignments as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Organizational time management
  • Microsoft Excel, Outlook and the aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
  • Minimum of 2 years retail planning and distribution experience preferred

Art Director - Emeryville, CA:

We are everyday athletes and fitness fanatics passionate about our brand and the impact that sports and the pursuit of fitness have on our lives! We are on the lookout for an experienced Art Director to add to our dynamic and fun team!

Job Summary:
The individual we hire will be responsible for continuing and expanding upon the overall graphic and photographic expression of the Title Nine catalog, website, retail and collateral pieces, including design, layout, and photography.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Creates and directs the design and layout of all catalog pages and covers.
  • Responsible for design of collateral branded pieces.
  • Ensure consistency of creative brand expression in all channels and throughout the company.
  • Art directs all product photography, both in studio and on location with model athletes.
  • Reviews all photography to ensure it maintains high standards, portrays product accurately and promotes brand image.
  • Reviews product line and recommends appropriate shot type and style.
  • Develops shotlist for each shoot.
  • Presents shotlist to studio or location team and reviews with them what is expected and needed for each shot.
  • Works with Creative department to develop and coordinate concepts for upcoming shoots.
  • Works closely with merchandising team on translating merchant vision into designed spreads.
  • Keeps abreast of current trends in art direction style and technique.
  • Develops new techniques for presenting apparel and process improvement on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years related experience in consumer catalog art direction and photography in multi-channel retail environment.
  • Proficient in Macintosh system and software: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and OSX.
  • Catalog art direction and design experience a plus.
  • Experience in off-figure, tabletop photography, women's apparel and accessories a plus.
  • Experience in on-location, model photography.
  • Knowledge of current trends in photography style and technique, both film and digital.
  • Proven track record of bringing forth innovative ideas and concepts that deliver strong results.
  • Attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy and highly organized.
  • Strong initiative.
  • Must have passion for hands-on design.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelors Degree in Advertising or Design preferred.

Graphic Designer - Emeryville, CA:

Due to our growth (profitable!) we are adding a new position - a Graphic Designer to join our dynamic and fun team!

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Creating designs from concept through execution for all e-mail campaigns, website, retail graphics, and other marketing materials.
  • Assisting designers with the preparation of files for print/web, as needed.
  • As a key member of our Creative team, we are looking for someone who is not only self-directed and able to work independently, but a team player who works well collaboratively and who is eager and motivated to take on a variety of projects and back up other designers as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must have catalog design experience.
  • Prior experience in Web Creative and Print Design required - apparel experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS related to e-mail and Web pages, have strong typography skills.
  • Fluency in Adobe CS4 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) in a Mac environment.
  • Experience creating web graphics, knowledge of web design and best practices including extensive knowledge of file formats, resolution and resizing of images.
  • Proven ability to follow through on a project from start to finish.
  • Understanding of corporate branding and a demonstrated ability to deliver fresh designs that are consistent with recent trends.

The Details: As Manager, you will lead the charge in your store. Your first task on the job will be to hire an assistant manager and retail associates to round out your team. Once the store is open, you'll need to multi-task between people management, event development and retail sales, so strong managerial and leadership experience is a must. You will be called upon to hire and train your staff in all aspects of sales, customer relations, and inventory management on an ongoing basis. A passion for customer service is a must. Retail Store Key Holder - Boulder, CO:
Join Our Retail Team!

Title Nine is a multi-channel retailer specializing in women's athletic, sports and casual wear and we're on the lookout for a store Key Holder who will work closely with our management team on many aspects of running our Boulder store.

We are looking for someone who is energetic, flexible, self-motivated, outgoing, friendly and has a good sense of humor. As always, a passion for fun, fitness and sports is our number one requirement. Excellent customer service skills and a willingness to learn are essential as well.

As a Key Holder you will be called upon to support your team with opening and closing duties, sales, cash management and scheduling. You'd also assist in the supervision of the store during down times and breaks and lunches. Attention to detail is a must!
