About the Course
The race is a scenic 9k loop around the Boulder Reservoir. The course begins just outside the entrance on North 51st Street. From there, it travels north to Monarch Road, turns east on Monarch and then south onto the Federer Canal. Finally the course crosses the Reservoir's two dam walls and finishes out near the Pavilion. The course is mostly dirt roads and wide trails. It is rolling, but not technical.

Registration is limited to 1800 participants and will fill up early. Register now to guarantee your spot.
Mother & Child Categories
If you are a mom with a small tot in a baby jogger, please register as one of the “Mom with baby jogger” categories. Based on past feedback we have found that it works best for everyone when we divide the baby jogger folks into two categories: running and walking. And if you'll be walking the course with a baby jog stroller, we ask that you do your best to stay to the right of the course. Both baby jogger categories will be timed.
How are you timed if you and your kid register as a team? Good question! That means that we will list your individual results as well as your combined times.
If you are registering with several kids and there's no baby jogger in the mix, everyone should just go ahead and register separately. That way everyone gets a goodie bag! (translation – if you register as a “Mother w/baby jogger” only mom gets a goodie bag and tee shirt or visor)
For mother/child teams, both get a race tee shirt or visor and goodie bag. (Please note that we do not offer children's sizes.)

Rag-A-Muffin Run starts at 8:15am
Big Girls Race (all categories) starts at 9:00am
All races start ON TIME just outside the Boulder Reservoir entrance on N. 51st Street. Please arrive one hour before your start time.
Packet Pick-Up
Highly recommended! If you specify a store pick-up when you register, you can grab your race number, goodie bag, and tee shirt or visor at that particular store beginning Monday, May 5th through the end of the day on Saturday, May 10th.

Aid Stations and Potties
There will be a total of 5 clearly marked aid stations spaced evenly along the course. Aid stations will be stocked with water, sports drinks, first aid, cheering fans and other cool stuff.
We heard you loud and clear after last year's race and will have even more potties stationed at the start area, aid stations, finish line, expo area and in the parking lot. So, feel free to hydrate!
