We are excited to celebrate the fun and satisfaction of your doing a run/jog/walk with us, whether it’s your very first or your hundredth! What
A scenic 9k (that’s a bit over 5.5 miles) run, jog or walk mostly on paved trails.
Who
YOU! First timers to a race, seasoned runners, elite racers, joggers, walkers, skippers, and mothers with kids in tow—yes! Baby joggers are allowed; we even have a separate category for moms with baby joggers. Sorry guys, this one's just for the ladies!
Start Times
- T9K Rag-A-Muffin Run starts at 8:15am
- Title 9K Race (all categories) starts at 9:00am*
The kids will have 3 age categories and line up according to these.
There will be pace signs for the T9K race to line up behind.
* Please help us get everyone parked and ready to run on time by carpooling and arriving at least one hour before our start time of 9:00am.
Race T-Shirts & Goodies
All race registrants will receive a super sweet custom T9K T-shirt from Title Nine. The adult shirt is a cotton/poly mix – breathable and soft! Participants will also receive a custom Title Nine bag of Goodies – click here to read more about Goodies in store for you!
Parking
Lincoln Park has plenty of parking. It's getting to a parking space that can be tricky. So, we strongly recommend that you arrive at least one hour before the start time and to carpool if possible. (If it sounds like we are repeating ourselves…that's because we are!)
Riding your bike to the race? Fantastic! We will have a bike corral with volunteers to guard your steed while you run. We’ll have a little extra snack for you cyclists so you won’t be depleted for your fun T9K run!
Packet Pick-Up
Early Packet Pick-Up: Highly recommended! If you registered before October 12th and specified a store pick-up when you registered, you can grab your race number, goodie bag, and race shirt at that particular store beginning Monday, October 15th through the end of the day on Saturday, October 20nd. If you registered to pick-up your packet at a specific store, then that's where you need to pick it up!

If you just can't make it to one of the stores, you can register to pick up your race number and goodie bag at the race site on race day from 7:00am to 8:30am.
And remember, if you registered to pick it up at the store but just didn’t make it, we will take your bag to Lincoln Park on race morning for you to pick up at the Tent.
Awards
The top three fastest women across the line, the first girl under 18, and the fastest mom with baby jogger will get awards, so stick around for the awards ceremony! Also, the Best Three Stories will also get awards. Please tell us your story surrounding this event when you pick up your packet – we’d love to hear it!

Directions
How do you get to the race site? The race is in Lincoln Park at the Benjamin Franklin Monument near Clark Street and LaSalle Drive. You can see a full map of the area here.
From the North (Evanston):
Take N. Lakeshore Drive / US-41 South
Exit at Fullerton Parkway
Turn left onto W. Fullerton Parkway and there are several parking lots to your left. There is also parking in the zoo parking lot.
Or continue to N. Stockton Drive and turn left there. There will be a parking lot just before you get to LaSalle Drive.
From the South (Downtown Chicago)
Take S. Lakeshore Drive / US-41 North.
Exit at Fullerton Parkway.
Follow same directions as above.

T9K Rag-A-Muffin Run
Do you have some little ones in your family 8 years or younger who would love to get in on the action? Well, we have just the thing...our Title Nine Rag-A-Muffin Fun Run. It's only about 50 yards and it's FREE!
The first race will start at 8:15am sharp, so please get to the Packet Pick-Up Tent to sign up your junior runner by 8:00am at the very latest. This pint-sized event will be run in three "heats" again this year. Here is how the fun breaks down:
- 2 to 3 years = The Rumbling Reds
- 4 to 5 years = The Blazing Blues
- 6 to 8 years = The Yahoo Yellows
The race "course" is approximately 50 yards long. Look for sign-up at the Packet Pick-Up tent and we’ll direct you to the start of this wee fun run!
There will be treats at the end of the races for ALL the little guys and gals. This is a great opportunity to get your kids exposed to the excitement and joy of running!
