Who needs breakfast in bed when you can start off your Mother's Day with fun for the entire family?! And don't miss the post race party - rock out to the DJ spinning some tunes, grab some post-race food, and enjoy all of the expo vendors!

Boulder Reservoir,  Boulder, Colorado

Sunday, May 12th at 9:00am

A scenic 9k + (that’s a bit over 6 miles) run, jog or walk mostly on dirt trails.

YOU! First timers to a race, seasoned runners, elite racers, joggers, walkers, skippers, and mothers with kids in tow—yes! Baby joggers are allowed; we even have a separate category for moms with baby joggers. This is meant to be a woman’s event, where the gals get a day just for themselves, whether or not they are Moms.  We highly encourage men to cheer from the sidelines or volunteer and let the ladies have the race to themselves.

Register Now >

Transfer Registration!  If you just can’t make it on race day, for a limited time, you can transfer your registration to another pal in the SAME category. There’s an additional $10 transfer fee and a deadline of April 15th to do this.  We hope you can make it, but if you just can’t, send a friend!

Race Insurance! When you register, you have the option of purchasing race insurance through Active for a $7 fee.  If you become injured or ill, it’s up to you to contact the insurance company to see if you’ll get a refund for your race entry.  Please read through the information on Active.com as you register to see if this option is right for you.

Bib Chips!  We started chip timing last year and had shoe timing chips. This year, you will have your timing chip attached to the back of your bib when you get your packet.  There’s no need to return it!  This will save you the hassle of mailing the chip back in case you just can’t make it to the race.  Please handle the bib/chip combo with care and keep track of it!  There will be a $5 replacement fee if you lose or damage it because these little items are slightly pricey.  Thanks!

Race T-Shirts & Goodies

All Adult race registrants will receive a super sweet woman’s cut T9K T-shirt from Title Nine. We offer sizes XS through XL.  Participants will also receive a bag of Goodies – click here to read more about Goodies in store for you!  If you cross that finish line, each participant will receive a custom finisher’s prize, too.  The Under 18 crowd will receive a custom T9K hat, made to fit all sized heads (though cinched down a little more for the younger ones).

Start Times

T9 Rag-A-Muffin Run starts at 8:15am*

Title 9K+ Race (all categories) starts at 9:00am*. There will be pace signs for you to line up behind.

The kids in the free Rag-A-Muffin run will have 3 age categories and line up accordingly:

  • 2 to 3 years = The Rumbling Reds
  • 4 to 5 years = The Blazing Blues
  • 6 to 8 years = The Yahoo Yellows

* All races start ON TIME inside the Boulder Reservoir gates. You'll see the balloon arches. Please arrive at least one hour before the start time.

The Boulder Reservoir has plenty of parking. It's getting to a parking space that can be tricky. The single road that travels into the reservoir can make traffic kinda hairy. So, we strongly recommend that you arrive at least one hour before the start time and to carpool in if at all possible. (If it sounds like we are repeating ourselves, that's because we are!)

Important for Spectators: The Boulder Reservoir will be charging an entry fee if you get there at 9am or after. Come early to cheer on your mom/wife/pal - and avoid the $5 fee!

Here are some other suggestions for nearby parking lots where you can meet up with a group of friends and carpool or walk in:

  • The Tom Watson Park lot on 63rd Street across from Coot Lake (west of IBM). Warm up with a 2 mile run on the Reservoir Dam road to the start line. Or you can carpool from the lot.
  • The Pleasant View Soccer Fields (on 47th Street south of Jay Road). Ride your bike or carpool from there.

Once you arrive, please follow the parking attendants' directions and hustle on in.
Post-Race Parking Exit:  The Boulder County Deputies on duty may direct you north out of the parking lot as you exit.  This is to avoid congestion on the Jay Road exit off of 51st Street.  See “Directions” above to see how you would drive around the Reservoir to get home – probably more quickly!

Packet Pick-Up

You have a couple of options here:

Early Packet Pick-Up: (Highly recommended!) We strongly encourage you to sign-up for pre-race packet pick up at one of our 3 Colorado stores. Packet pick up at the stores will start Monday, May 6 and go through Saturday, May 11 during regular store hours. Picking up your packet ahead of time will allow you some extra time to enjoy race morning, eat your snacks, chill with a friend, or hang-out with your family before the start of the race.

Note: If you just can't make it to pick up your packet at a store, we will have it for you at the Reservoir race day. Just remember to get to the Rez extra early to get it!

Directions to the stores can be found on our store web pages:

Race Day Packet Pick-Up: You can pick up your race number and goodie bag on race day from 7:00am to 8:30am. Just make sure you choose that option when you register.
Important:  Sign-up by May 3rd to get the option of in-store packet pick-up.  If you sign-up after that date, you will only have the option to get the packet at the race site on May 12th.

The top three fastest women across the line, the top mom with stroller, and the first girl and boy under 18 will get awards, so stick around for the awards ceremony! Also, the Best Three Stories will also get awards. Please send in your story to t9k@titlenine.com as a word document or you can drop off a typed copy at the store during packet pick-up.

T9K Rag-A-Muffin Run

Do you have some little ones in your family 8 years or younger who would love to get in on the action? Well, we have just the thing...our Title Nine Rag-A-Muffin Fun Run. It's only about 50 yards and it's FREE!

The first race will start at 8:15am sharp, so please get to the Packet Pick-Up Tent to sign up your junior runner by 8:00am at the very latest. They will get a little stick-on race bib, color coded to their age group. This pint-sized event will be run in three "heats". Here is how the fun breaks down:

  • 2 to 3 years = The Rumbling Reds
  • 4 to 5 years = The Blazing Blues
  • 6 to 8 years = The Yahoo Yellows

The race "course" is a next to the T9K+ starting line. The little guys and gals run about 50 yards on the asphalt road next to the expo.

There will be treats at the end of the races for ALL these young folk. This is a great opportunity to get your kids exposed to the excitement and joy of running!
The main event starts at 9:00am, so if your little one will be participating with you in the baby jogger category there will be plenty of time to transfer your tuckered out tike into the jogging stroller for a nice relaxing ride with you. Sweet!

Please do know that we will have a kid’s activity tent and other games to entertain your little ones. We do not provide child care so please make sure that all kids have an adult with them.
