How does my company become a T9k Expo vendor?
Send an email to email@example.com telling us about your company and product and we’ll let you know if your product or service is a good fit. We'll get you information and begin the discussion! Please know that our Expo vendors need to offer samples or perform a service.
When does early registration end?
Super Early Registration end on March 30, midnight and Early Registration rates end on Sunday, August 3 at midnight PST. Registration fees go to regular rates beginning Monday, August 4!
Can I register on site the day of the race?
Yes! We will have race day registration! The fee will be $5 more than the regular registration fee. Get here extra early – and cash or checks only.
What if I register and then become injured or am unable to attend the race?
Your race entry fee is non-refundable. However, you can sign-up for race insurance through Active. You pay the $7 fee and apply with the insurance company for a refund in case you get ill or injured. Read through the details when you register to see if this option is right for you. The insurance is a third party company and so you communicate directly with them, not Title Nine.
Can I transfer my registration to another runner?
You CAN transfer your registration but only up until a certain deadline: August 15. There is an additional $10 fee for this. You take care of this through your registration number so make sure you hang on to all of your information! After the above deadline, the registration is non-transferable.
If I can't make it, can I get my race packet?
If you know you won’t make it on race day, you or a trusted person can pick up your race goods at the place you chose during regular packet pick-up times. We do not send packets out. Also, we will not keep any left-over packets after the race starts, so please come get it during PPU week or even on race morning, before 9am.
How do I pick up my packet?
We recommend that you pick up your race packet and goodie bag from our Los Gatos, Palo Alto, Berkeley, Walnut Creek or Mill Valley retail stores prior to the race. If you register to pick up your packet at one of our stores, packet pick up begins on Wednesday, September 10th and is available through Saturday, September 13th during store hours. We can’t transfer your packet from store to store, so be sure to get your stuff at the store you chose!
If you choose to pick up your goods on race day, race packets will be available for pick-up at the Quarry Lakes Park at the Packet Pick-Up Tent from 7:00am to 8:30am.
And remember, if you choose packet pick-up at a store but just can’t make it there, we will bring all the race goods from the store to Quarry Lakes on Race Day. Don’t fret!
Note: In order to get in-store packet pick-up, you need to register by 5pm September 7.
Can I bring my dog?
Your dog is allowed but follow Quarry Park rules: "Dogs are not allowed in the water anywhere in the park, and dogs are not allowed to pass the beach gates or be in the swim beach area. Please note that all dogs must remain on leash at all times while in the park (leashes may not exceed six feet in length)."
So feel free to bring your little buddy but mind the rules above AND make sure he/she is friendly with other dogs and people! Keep in mind though: no dogs allowed on the race course itself.
Can someone else pick up my race packet on my behalf?
If you trust 'em, we trust 'em.
Will there be gear-check area?
You bet there will be – your stuff will be safe and sound!
Can I wear headphones?
If you want to rock out to your own tunes, by all means, wear your headphones. Please be aware of the course marshal directions and of other runners around you. Keep the volume low enough to hear any instructions, especially at the beginning of the race. Thanks for being a considerate runner!
Can my little one ride her tricycle or bike on the course while I run?
No trikes, bikes or dogs are permitted on the race course. We want to keep the event safe for everyone.
If you have any questions shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. See you there!
