NEW: Now boys under 18 (non-adult boys) can run the Bay Area Title 9K with their moms, aunts, grandmas, or adult sisters! The Boys will receive what the Under 18 girls receive: a custom T9K race hat and a goodie bag filled with sample products. Sign up your boy runner today!
Please help us get everyone parked and ready to run on time by carpooling and arriving at least one hour before our start time of 9:00am. If you want your little one to participate in the free Rag-A-Muffin Run, you might want to get here earlier than that!
You have a couple of options here:
Early Packet Pick-Up: (Highly Recommended!) We strongly encourage you to sign-up for pre-race packet pick up at one of our 5 Bay Area stores the week prior to the race. Packet pick-up starts Wednesday, September 10 and goes through Saturday, September 13th during store hours. Picking up your packet prior to race day will allow you some extra time to enjoy the morning, eat your snacks, chill with a friend, or hang-out with your family pre-race. It is the race day hassle-free option. Register by September 7 to get your packet in-store.
Note: If you opt to get your packet at a store but then don’t make it there, we will bring your packet to the park for race day pick-up. Just remember to get there extra early to get it!
Race Day Packet Pick-Up: You can stick with the tried and true of picking up your race number and goodie bag on race day from 7:00am to 8:30am.
Race T-Shirts & Goodies
All adult registrants will receive a super sweet woman’s cut T9K T-shirt from Title Nine. We offer sizes XS through XL. Participants will also receive a bag of Goodies – click here to read more about these samples in store for you! Girls and Boys under 18 will receive a Goodie bag and a custom T9K hat instead of a T-shirt.
The top three fastest women across the line, the fastest mom with baby jogger, the first girl and first boy under 18, and the best three "Why I Run" stories will get awards, so stick around for the awards ceremony!
Check out the Directions below to see how to get to Quarry Lakes Recreational Area. Once there, volunteers will help direct you to your spot.
Please don’t wait until the last minute to arrive! It will be a busy morning getting everyone parked and lined up for the race. Plus, you want time to finish your coffee or tea, have a little snack, use the potty, warm-up, and enjoy seeing your friends! For that reason, please allow at least ONE HOUR prior to the race start, especially if you still have to pick-up your race bib and goodies at the Expo area.
Parking Fee: We take care of that for you, but please car pool for the environment and to decrease congestion! Let the gate know you’re here for the T9K race – but participants only! We trust your cheering section to be honest about this and pay their own way in. Note: after 8:45am, everyone will need to pay the $5 fee.
The closest BART station stop is in Union City: http://www.bart.gov/stations/ucty/index.aspx. It's 1.5 miles from the Quarry Lakes entrance. Load your bike on BART and then get a quick warm-up ride to the Title 9K start!
From I-880 in Fremont, take the Decoto Road exit east and proceed to Paseo Padre Parkway. Turn right on Paseo Padre, then left on Isherwood Way. Proceed to the park entrance on the right. From Mission Blvd (Hwy. 238) in Fremont, turn south on Nursery Ave. (away from the hills) and right (west) on Niles Blvd. Turn left on Osprey Drive and left on Quarry Lakes Drive. Proceed to the park entrance on the left. Once you get there, our friendly parking lot volunteers will get you to a spot so you can scoot on to the race area!
