Race Day Arrival and Parking

Check out the Directions below to see how to get to the Sunnyvale Baylands Park.  Once there, parking areas will be clearly marked.  Packet pick-up and post-race Expo will be on the meadow and the race start is just a short jaunt from there. 

Please don’t wait until the last minute to arrive!  It will be a busy morning getting everyone parked and lined up for the race.  Plus, you want time to finish your coffee or tea, have a little snack, use the potty, warm-up, and enjoy seeing your friends at the race!  For that reason, please allow at least ONE HOUR prior to the race start, especially if you still have to pick-up your race bib and goodies at the Expo area.

Packet Pick-Up

Early Packet Pick-Up: (Highly Recommended!) We strongly encourage you to sign-up for pre-race packet pick up at one of our 5 Bay Area stores the week prior to the race (Monday, August 22 – Saturday, August 27). Picking up your packet prior to race day will allow you some extra time to enjoy the morning, eat your snacks, chill with a friend, or hang-out with your family pre-race.  It is the race day hassle free option.

Note:  If you just can’t make it to the store, we will bring your race packet to the park on race day.  Just remember to get there extra early to get it!

Race Day Packet Pick-Up:  You can stick with the tried and true of picking up your race number and goodie bag on race day from 7:00am to 8:30am.

Directions

The Park is located just off of CA-237 at exit 5. 

Driving from the East Bay and North Bay:

• 880 South toward San Jose

• Take Exit 8C to merge onto CA-237 W. toward Mountain View
• Take Exit 5 to merge onto Caribbean Drive.  The park will be on your right.

Driving from San Francisco:

• 101 South toward San Jose
• Take Exit 396B to merge onto CA-237 E. toward Alviso/Milpitas
• Take Exit 5 for Caribbean Drive
• Merge onto Lawrence Expressway
• Continue onto Caribbean Drive.  The Park will be on your right

Driving from San Jose:

• 101 North toward San Francisco
• Take Exit 396B to merge onto CA-237 E. toward Alviso/Milpitas
• Take Exit 5 for Caribbean Drive
• Merge onto Lawrence Expressway
• Continue onto Caribbean Drive.  The Park will be on your right
