"I needed a pair of boots to get me to and from work without being too bulky and too hot. I compared these boots to a lace-up style from Merrell and hands down these are better for the urban trek. More lightweight, less stiff, a good height, they seem to fit true to size, and I love that there are no laces to fuss with. They are just roomy enough inside to handle either thin smartwool or thicker thorlo socks. The extra breathing room is key because my feet are always hot. I am looking forward to trying these out in snow - if we get any this year. They are cute enough I'll be finding excuses to wear them regardless of the precipitation."
