I look forward to wearing these next winter - lining is very warm & outside shell looks ready for anything. I first purchased an regular 8 but the waist literally can up to the bottom of my bra line. Ordered a second pair in petite 8 (which I typically do not wear) and this pair fits better - the waist is still a little high (sits just above), but that is my personal preference for a below waist fit.

Petite size doesn't work for a petite person. Too long and ankle zipper doesn't allow for shortening.

These are great ski pants. I first ordered them in Regular but they were way too long. Petite was the perfect fit and length.

These are winter warm and fit beautifully except for the length. It cost $$$ to shorten 3" since there is a zipper at the bottom. The friend who recommended these to me said they were too long for her size also but can roll them up at the waist..

Bought these for a trip to Norway and they were the best pants I bought. Great for walking around town in the wind and rain, great for adding a base layer and cross-country skiing. These were my most worn pants I brought on my trip. If I have one critique it's that the waistline is not adjustable, but they fit me snug enough in the butt and thighs that it wasn't a problem.
