They're great for hikes in the woods. Other reviews were correct. They're a little snug, but still work.

Comfortable material and fit. I followed the recommendation to size up to an 8. Like other Kuhl pants I have, these stretch out quickly - can't expect to wear them for days on end without loosening at the waist and sagging, especially with gear in the pockets. Side cargo pockets are a nice feature but not deep enough to close the flap and securely snap in my iPhone 12.

First off, I'm a 70 year old woman - maybe not your usual catalog gal - but active outdoors nonetheless. I'm an artist and paint outdoors, plein-air. I also hike the Sierras where we have a cabin. I love the shorts, good pockets and for me, good length. Very rugged but stylish.
It's hard to find cute knee length shorts. These look great on and are comfortable. Wish they had more colors.

Love the quality but this pair runs small. I had bought another Kuhl pair of shorts (6) and love them so ordered these online. Had to return for next size up and even those are snug. These are also low-rise. Just thought it odd that same manufacturer would run so differently in size.
