I travel between NY and Alaska. Both have extreme weather. Cold. Snowy. Windy. Yet I'm outdoors daily, sometimes all day. I ski, run, hike through it all. I took these skiing the other day, about 10 degrees, and they were awesome! Granted, it wasn't too windy, but I was warm, comfortable, and to be able to move without the bulk of snow pants was great! Also, finding pants that aren't 4-6" too long is tough. They always bunch up around my ankles or knees. These are perfect. I have to get another pair ! Love them !

As others mentioned, the Camo crash tights are different. They are shorter & not as pliant - kind of stiff, actually. They felt too small in my usual size. The second time I wore them, they developed a hole in the knee - very sad about that. The Camo color is a winner, though, & I love my other Crash tights.

I got these to wear cross country skiing. I love them. The kept my legs warm and the wind didn't seem to go through them. I love them so far. I like the zip side pocket.

My weight increased due to back injury but the large still work for me, also worked at lighter weight (170 muscular). I really wish they came in long length as they run a bit short which isn't ideal for a winter weight legging. The zip thigh pocket is great for a phone or anything else, waist has a drawstring but I don't find it needed, waistband is comfortable. I have about 4 pair between the camo, heathered and not heathered and wear them all winter long. The camo version fabric is slightly different- not as soft, slightly snaggy so I probably wouldn't buy additional pairs in camo, but the rest will be long term staples for me. Just wish they offered a longer length version (32-34" inseam).

Really soft and warm leggings! Love them! Not as stretchy as regular leggings.
