Athletic leggings and running tights that take us to new heights

What you wear to your workout matters—so ditch the old sweats and add a pair of comfortably stretchy, breathable, and never see-through T9 leggings. From cool, sweat-wicking capris to full length cold-weather Polartec tights, our leggings and tights made for women have you (and your bum) covered.

How do Title Nine leggings fit?

We create and curate all of our pants to be the absolute best at their job—which means our do-it-all capri leggings are perfect for transitioning seamlessly from the yoga studio to the grocery store, while our windproof, water-repellent cold-weather tights are ideal for summiting mountains (or hitting the sled hill). No matter what type of athletic leggings you’re looking for, women can count on T9’s collection to be squat-proof, sweat-proof, form-fitting, and always performance-minded.

What is the difference between active and running tights?

Active leggings are any leggings built to move—from abrasion-resistant hikers to our do-anything, wear-anywhere active tights. Look for features like a stash pocket, mesh panels, and reversible prints.

Running tights, on the other hand, are specifically built for—you guessed it—running. Made for high impact, outdoor sports like running and walking, run tights often have reflective details to keep you safe, light compression to support, and side pockets perfect for smartphones or snacks.

And since we always try to get our work out in—no matter the forecast—our run tights are ready for running in any kind of weather, too. When the weather heats up, you’ll find us in capri-length tights with high rise waists, mesh side panels, and sweat-proof pockets that are built to keep us cool, no matter how long of a sweat session we’re in for. When the temps start to dip, we grab lined, wind-resistant pants to keep us cozy when the winds get whipping.

Should I wear tights instead of shorts for running?

A nice short on a sunny day run might sound like perfection, but there are a lot of reasons why run tights are a much better choice for women (even on those picture-perfect days).
- Temperature control. Wearing running tights can help keep your legs warm on cool days, and cool on hot ones with technical, moisture-wicking fabrics.
- Sun protection. Sure, you can lather on the sunscreen pre-run (and you should!) but running tights can help keep your legs burn-proof without the extra sunscreen step.
- They're more comfortable. Wide waistbands, breathable materials, and your choice of mid-rise, low-rise, and high-waisted tights mean you can get the style that works for you.
- They’re more aerodynamic. Baggy shorts or sleek tights? Just like a sports car, the sleeker your outfit, the more aerodynamic you are.
- You might even be able to run farther. Compression running tights made for women can help promote circulation in your legs, giving you the support you need and keeping your legs feeling fresher, longer.

How long should athletic leggings last with normal wear?

Forget baggy, worn-out leggings—a pair of quality athletic leggings or run tights should last at least a year with regular wear. Abrasion-resistant, technical fabric with moisture-wicking, quick-drying properties can help keep your leggings around longer by keeping them snag- and stink-free. Want to extend their life even more? Turn them inside out before washing them on cold. Hang to dry, work out, wash and repeat.
